Liquitex Satin Gel Medium

Liquitex Satin Gel Medium gives heavier body acrylic paints an oil-like colour brilliance and increases the viscosity of soft body paints, giving a thicker consistency. It dries to a satin finish and maintains paint adhesion, durability and archival quality. It also slows the drying time of your acrylic paint and enhances the appearance of brush strokes in your work.

To use, mix as much as you like into acrylic colour to create the viscosity and transparency you want - the more you add, the more transparent the color will become.

• Mix into Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic to extend volume and maintain viscosity
• Mix into Liquitex Soft Body or Liquitex Acrylic Ink to extend volume and thicken

This is semi-opaque when wet, transparent when dry. When used very thickly it may dry semi-opaque.

Liquitex Satin Gel Medium is fully intermixabile with the Liquitex range.
